Well hello there.
21 22 years old, and have been in the knitting game for fifteen sixteen years. My grandmother taught me how to knit with a spool when I was seven, and my mother helped me with the basics of knitting when I was a few years older than that. Since then, I’ve moved beyond spool-tubes and scarves (the occasional dishcloth) and into socks, shawls, mittens and the like. I’ve even dabbled in weaving. Yup. As in with a loom.
When my grandmother passed away three years ago, I inherited a lot of her yarn and needles. Because of this, I feel like everything I knit has a little piece of her in it- her memory, and her love.
On the non-knitting side, I’m a 22 year old university student who is firmly convinced that her degree in anthropology absolutely will not lead to driving a cab. Nope. Not gonna happen.
I just don’t think I have the mental fortitude to drive one of those things. If my love of taking the scenic route doesn’t get me fired, then the traffic will kill me.
